Global College, Ambo, remains committed to promoting holistic Sports development through active engagement in sports. In line with its vision of fostering academic excellence and physical wellness, the college has consistently participated in and sponsored various local and regional sports events. This summer, in the city administration of Ambo, the “Ambo Summer Cup” football tournament has officially begun and the management of Global College, Ambo participated on the opening ceremony of the game. This tournament is being held for the first time under the organization of the Youth and Sports Office of Ambo City Administration. The competition, which will last for six weeks, is aimed at reviving the culture of sports and identifying talented football players who can represent various football clubs in Ambo city, the region and the country at large. It is obvious that Global College, Ambo has been provided financial and material support for various sporting activities in and around Ambo town, West Shoa Zone and at Regional level. As its former commitment, Global College Ambo, engaged and sponsored the 2025 Ambo Summer Cup that underscores its dedication to youth development, sports, and social cohesion. The college remains committed to playing an active role in promoting healthy, empowered communities through such events. Global College believes that Sport plays a significant role not only in strengthening love, unity, and brotherhood, but also in realizing peace and the development we aspire to. Therefore, our youth should strengthen their unity and fraternal relations through sport.
