Global College and Code Ethiopia Collaboration
Global College, committed to academic excellence and community engagement, has partnered with Code Ethiopia, a leading organization in information access and technology development in Ethiopia. CODE – Ethiopia works with stakeholders in seven regions. Its financial and material support comes from Canadian Organization for Development through Education. (CODE) with the assistance of the Department of Foreign Affairs,Trade and Development (DFATD).
This collaboration is centered on strengthening the college’s library collection through a series of targeted
strategies and resource-sharing programs.
Key Objectives
- Expand both physical and digital library collections with high-quality resources.
- Promote inclusive access to educational materials.
- Introduce modern library management and cataloging practices.
- Train library staff in digital tools and information literacy.
- Enhance student and faculty access to up-to-date academic content.
This initiative aims to support sustainable academic growth and empower students and faculty with improved
learning tools, ultimately contributing to the broader development of knowledge in the region.
